To provide the protective structure of a water shielding normal surface in a final disposal place and the protective buffer body construction method of the water shielding normal surface in the final disposal place capable of surely protecting a water shielding sheet laid on the developed surface of the final disposal place from damages at the time of reclamation and forming an inexpensive and stable protective layer.
This structure is provided with the water shielding sheet 4 laid on the developed surface 2 of the final disposal place 1 and a buffer body 5 composed by filling a buffer material 10 including at least wood pieces 11' for which wood 11 generated at the time of developing the spot is cut in a bag body 9 formed of net bodies 6 and 7 formed of a corrosion-resistant material and an inner partition 8. The buffer body 5 is tightly laid on the water shielding sheet 4 and forms a buffer layer.
