PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a cylinder.SOLUTION: A cylinder 100 includes a cylinder tube 110, and a cylinder bottom 120 closing an opening of the cylinder tube 110. Annular grooves 114, 124 extending in a circumferential direction are formed on inner surfaces 110b, 122b of the cylinder tube 110 and a wall 122 of the cylinder bottom 120, and inside diameters D3, D4 of the grooves 114, 124 are larger than an inside diameter D2 of an opening end 110a of the cylinder tube 110 and an inside diameter D1 of an end 122a of the wall 122.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
