In this pressure control valve 14, an adapter 57 formed in ring shape is interposed between a cage 47 and a retainer 48. A second port seal 58 is installed in a groove 57a of the adapter 57. A valve element 52 has a first seat part 52C brought into pressure contact with a first port seal 46 in a lower end part of a first sliding wall 52D for opening-closing holes 47a and 47b by sliding on the inner periphery of the cage 47, and has a second seat part 52F brought into pressure contact with the second port seal 58 in a lower end part of a second sliding wall 52E for sliding on the inner periphery of the retainer 48. The first and second seat parts 52C and 52F project in an acute angle shape by forming a cross section in a circular arc shape, and are brought into pressure contact so as to bite into the first and second port seals 46 and 58 in a valve closing state to enhance the sealing performance.
