Abstract:
To provide a press fit structure for a fitting body free from generation of burrs after press fitting the fit body into a hole portion of a base.
In this press fit structure for the fitting body for press fitting the fitting body into the hole portion 2 of the base 1 in a state of being lockable, a plurality of projections 5 generating fitting body retaining force according to press fitting of the fitting body 3 are formed on an inner peripheral wall of the hole portion 2 along the press fitting direction of the fitting body 3. The plurality of projections 5 have missing parts 5a from the middle to a dead end of the hole portion 2 in the press fitting direction.
