Abstract:
To provide a preload measurement method of a bearing device that can measure the preload more accurately.SOLUTION: A preload measurement method of a bearing device includes: a contact angle acquisition step for acquiring contact angle information regarding the contact angle of the bearing device, the bearing device being provided with an outer ring, an inner shaft, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner shaft and in contact with raceways formed on the outer ring and the inner shaft, respectively, at a predetermined contact angle; a load acquisition step for acquiring a load in the direction of the contact angle between the rolling elements and the raceways; and a preload acquisition step for acquiring the preload of the bearing device on the basis of the contact angle information obtained by the contact angle acquisition step and the load obtained by the load acquisition step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
