Abstract:
To provide a preload inspection method capable of simply calculating a preload even in a state after completion of assembly as well as during an assembling process and to provide a preload inspection method capable of easily determining acceptance of the preload state.SOLUTION: A preload inspection method includes; a relative distance acquisition step S6 of continuously acquiring a relative distance D2 between an outer member 2 and an inner member 3, while gradually increasing a pressing load Fa in an axial direction of clamping the outer member 2 and the inner member 3; a pressing load acquisition step S7 of specifying an inflexion point Pai on a transition line L of the relative distance D2 acquired in the relative distance acquisition step S6 and acquiring a pressing load Fai at the inflexion point Pai, a preload calculation step S8 of calculating a preload F0 based on the preload Fai acquired in the pressing load acquisition step S7, and an acceptance determination step S9 of determining acceptance according to whether or not the preload F0 calculated in the preload calculation step S8 is within the allowance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
