Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window drive mechanism and a torque limiter, which enhance the function of stopping rise of a window when a foreign matter is caught between the window and a window frame.SOLUTION: A power window drive mechanism (100b) of the invention comprises: a power transmission member which is rotated by driving force of a motor (101) and around which a wire is wound for elevating and lowering a window; and a torque limiter (10) which is disposed in a power transmission path from the motor (101) to the power transmission member and cuts off transmission of the driving force from the motor (101) when an overload is applied. The torque limiter (10) includes: a permanent magnet (13) which is fixed to one of a cylindrical outer peripheral part of a first rotor and a cylindrical inner peripheral part of a second rotor; and a hysteresis member (14) which is fixed to the other of the cylindrical outer peripheral part of the first rotor and the cylindrical inner peripheral part of the second rotor and generates hysteresis torque with the permanent magnet (13).
