Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission capable of improving drivability and preventing overspeed of an internal combustion engine by acting engine brake properly on driving wheels during vehicle deceleration travel.SOLUTION: A power transmission includes: a first speed change gear that variably changes a speed of an internal combustion engine power to transmit it to driving wheels of a vehicle; and a second speed change gear T2 that is provided in parallel with the first speed change gear and changes a speed of power in stages between an internal combustion engine and the driving wheels to transmit it. The second speed change gear T2 has: first rotary elements 62 and 72 coupled to the internal combustion engine, second rotary elements 65 and 73 coupled to the driving wheels, a third rotary element 63, and a fourth rotary element 76, where their revolution speeds have a collinear relationship to one another; power transmission changing devices 81 and 111 that can change a power transmitted between the first rotary elements 62 and 72 and the internal combustion engine; a first brake 91 for braking the third rotary element 63; and a second brake 101 for braking the fourth rotary element 76.
