Abstract:
A power transmission device (1) has: a motor (2); a normally closed low-speed brake (46) that is connected downstream of the motor (2); a counter gear (5) that is connected downstream of the low-speed brake (46); and a park-locking mechanism (7) for locking a motor shaft (20) that is a rotational element upstream of the low-speed brake (46). Providing the park-locking mechanism (7) to the motor shaft (20) that is positioned on the upstream side of the counter gear (5) makes it possible to reduce the torque input to the park-locking mechanism (7) when a vehicle having the power transmission device (1) mounted therein is stopped or parked.
