Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a power transmission device which is constituted to prevent an increase in the size of a device and form the device in a compact manner and reduce a cost through reduction of the number of parts.
CONSTITUTION: In constitution of a power transmission device 26 wherein by boosting working oil in oil pressure generating chambers A-H by a 'driven gear 31 and a ring gear 32 according to a rotation difference between a casing 29 and a retainer 30, a power is transmitted between the casing 29 and the retainer 30, a side plate 40 consisting of a pair of side plates 40a and 40b making contact with the left end face in an axial direction of the retainer 30 is disposed in the casing 29. A first hydraulic actuating chamber (a) communicated with oil pressure generating chambers A, C, E, and G on the forward side and a second hydraulic actuating chamber (b) communicated with an oil pressure generating chambers B, D, F, and H on the reversing side are respectively concentrically formed at the side plate 40.
