To improve a start performance in the case of forward movement and backward movement.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 100 comprises a first path 1 and a fluid joint 4. The fluid joint 4 includes a first torque converter body 4a and a second torque converter body 4b. The first torque converter body 4a includes a first impeller 41a, a first turbine 42a and a first stator 43a. The second torque converter body 4b includes a second impeller 41b, a second turbine 42b and a second stator 43b, The first impeller 41a and the second impeller 41b are rotated integrally. The fluid joint 4 amplifies a torque in a forward rotation direction of a rotary electric machine by the first torque converter body 4a and amplifies a torque in a backward rotation direction of the rotary electric machine by the second torque converter body 4b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
