Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of realizing an engine brake traveling that can steplessly change the speed without arranging any exclusive load generating means even though there is provided a stepless speed change transmission for transmitting a reciprocating motion of a connecting rod to an output shaft through a one-way clutch.SOLUTION: During engine brake traveling, it becomes possible to transmit power from a driving wheel to an engine E through a forwarding or rearward changing-over mechanism S. Under this state, a torque of inverse rotation is inputted from a first sun gear 31 of a first planetary gear mechanism P1 to an input shaft 11 of a stepless speed change device T, and this torque is outputted as a torque of normal rotation at the stepless speed change device T. With this arrangement as above, a power circulation for transmitting again the output of the stepless speed change device T to the engine E is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
