A drive transmission device of the engine for the vehicle is provided with a start clutch for connecting rotation of a crank shaft 5 with the transmission smoothly when the vehicle starts, the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 40 for performing speed change due to a difference in capacity between a swash plate hydraulic pump and a swash plate hydraulic motor and reducing speed of rotation of the crank shaft 5 to transmit to a drive wheel, and a slider 65 for changing an angle of a movable swash plate of the swash plate hydraulic motor by reciprocating a ball screw 64. The start clutch is a torque converter 33.
