Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system that has increased comprehensive efficiency by combining a high-efficient power generation device and a power storage device capable storing large electric power, and by effectively using waste heat. SOLUTION: This power generating system comprises SOFC 1 and a Na battery 2, which is connected electrically with SOFC 1 and stores generated electricity. This system also comprises a first exhaust-gas channel 5A, which feeds high-temperature exhaust gas from SOFC 1 to a heating part of the Na battery 2, and a second exhaust gas channel 5B, which feeds the exhaust gas to a steam-turbine generator 3. Since the Na battery 2 is heated and the steam- turbine generator 3 is actuated by an exhaust gas, comprehensive efficiency can be increased by effectively, using waste heat.
