Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the wrong action of load control by providing a flow control valve for controlling the supply/discharge of pressure air to/from a cylinder in a device capable of performing positioning control and load control, with built-in servo mechanism for stopping the supply of pressure air when the pressure of a cylinder rises to the specified value.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of being executed to a pressing device 11 provided with a die 13, a positioning load control device is provided with an air supply device 27 and a flow control valve 29 for controlling the supply/discharge of pressure air to/from a cylinder 23 for driving the die 13, and the positioning control of the die 13 is performed by controlling the flow control valve 29 by a controller 31 on the basis of the output of a displacement sensor 33 for detecting the displacement of the piston 25 of the cylinder 23. This flow control valve 29 has built-in servo mechanism for stopping the supply of pressure air to the first chamber 23a of the cylinder 23 when the pressure in the first chamber 23a rises to the specified value, and the shift to load control is performed by the own servo mechanism of the flow control valve 29 when the die 13 no longer moves with a metal plate inserted therein.
