PURPOSE: To provide a composition containing an aromatic polycarbonate, an ABS resin as an impact modifier, and a specified carboxylic ester as a parting agent and a plasticizer.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises (A) an aromatic polycarbonate (e.g. bisphenol-A polycarbonate), (B) an impact modifying amount, preferably 5-75 wt.% (% hereunder) based on the sum of A and B, of ABS resin or ABS type resin, preferably ABS or core-shell MBS, (C) an effective amount for parting and plasticizing, preferably 0.2-8%, more preferably 0.5-6%, of an ester of C1: 6-9C aliphatic carboxylic acid (e.g. pelargonic acid) and C2: a tetrahydric alcohol, preferably 4-16C, more preferably 4-8C tetrahydric alcohol (e.g. pentaerythritol), and (D) optionally polystyrene-acrylonitrile.
