Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sufficient sealing function and longer operating life, decrease a thickness of a piston ring, and reduce in size and cost of a device.
SOLUTION: On a surface of a piston 2, plural ring grooves 3 are arranged at appropriate intervals along its axial direction by housing the plural contact piston rings 4 each having a closed gap. An outer peripheral surface part 7 of a function part 5 in which the ring grooves 3 of the piston 2 are arranged close to an inner peripheral surface part 6a of a cylinder 6, is formed of a low-frictional member, and a one-side gap between the outer peripheral surface part 7 and the inner peripheral surface part 6a of the cylinder is set to be not more than 0.03 mm. An accident of contact between the piston 2 and the cylinder 6 is prevented from occurring, thereby ensuring a sliding of the piston 2 with respect to the cylinder 6.
