PURPOSE: To reduce a working time and working man-hours at site remarkably when a piping assembly is performed on a pipe supporting device used for the self-weight supporting and vibration suppression of various types of plant pipes for boilers, steam turbines, and gas turbines.

CONSTITUTION: A supporting member for transmitting a pipe weight to a building beam is installed slidably on the building beam 1 in longitudinal direction. As the supporting member, a reverse L-shape steel 2 is arranged on the lower both sides of the beam 1 and a flat plate 3 is fixed to it extensively. Also, a channel-shaped clevis 4 is fixed to the supporting member, and a pipe supporting member (formed with a hanger rod 5 and a turnbuckle) variable in length is connected rotatably to the clevis 4 so as to provide a pipe self- weight holding and vibration suppressing functions.
