Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform work for connecting a pipe joint and a bellows without leakage by using the fastening operation for connecting a bellows by a screw member to simultaneously form a flange part for stopping the screw part, and also simply grasping the fastening state of the screw member from the outside.
SOLUTION: This pipe joint includes a joint main body A having a pipe connecting opening 2 in which a bellows is inserted and connected, a pressure sleeve 4 having an engagement part 4a engaged with a groove part in the outer peripheral surface of the bellows, a screw member 5 for pressing and moving the pressure sleeve 4 until the forward end part of the bellows positioned between an insert regulating part 2a formed on the innermost side in the pipe connecting opening 2 and the pressure sleeve 4 is deformed to be buckled with the screw-engaging operation of the joint main body A to the fastening side for a screw part 2b in the state of being coated on the bellows, and a fastening confirming means B for confirming the fastening state of the screw member to the screw part 2b of the joint main body A from the outside.
