To provide a pipe joint and its manufacture, that a joint body is certainly bitten so as to prevent the slipping out of a pipe body, and also the separation of a separation preventing ring bitten into the pipe body can be prevented even though the pipe body is pulled by a strong force.

In this pipe joint comprising a joint body, a separation preventing ring 120 arranged in the inside of the joint body and bitten into the outer wall of a pipe body 1 fitted into the joint body so as to prevent the slipping out of the pipe body 1 and an open ring canceling the biting of the separation preventing ring 120 from the pipe body 1 by pushing/pressing the separation preventing ring 120 movably arranged axially within a predetermined range in the joint body, the separation preventing ring 120 comprises a ring part 121 abutting on a back ring arranged in the inside part of the joint body, a plurality of pushing/pressing parts 125 radially formed on the inner side of the ring part 121, having a groove 126 formed into an annular shape and also started from the outside part of the ring part 121, and pushed by the end of the open ring, and a projected part 128 formed at the end of the pushing/ pressing part 125 and slipped off from the outer wall of the pipe body 1 when pushed to the end of the open ring under a condition that it is fitted into the outer wall of the pipe body 1.
