Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pipe coupling which can be installed to the pipe end of a connecting pipe simply, can be connected without separating or decomposing a housing, a rubber ring, and a removal preventive ring in the connecting work, can prevent a careless failure in the construction, and can make a poor construction found easily.
CONSTITUTION: This pipe coupling is composed of a rubber ring 10 having an inner diameter a little larger than the outer diameter of the pipe end of a connecting pipe, a projection at the center of the peripheral surface, a hollow flat cross section, and an inner periphery side slot 11 ; pipe removal preventive rings 13 provided at both the left side and the right side of the rubber ring 10, divided into plural sections in the peripheral direction respectively, installing C-shaped ring form springs 15 on the outer peripheral surface, and having a pair of pickup levers 16 for expansion; driving pins to insert to pin holes 17 made coincident to the pickup levers 16; and a fastening housing 19 installed to the rubber ring 10 and the pipe removal preventive rings at both sides, furnishing rods 20 at both ends in the peripheral direction, and its fastening bolt 21 is screwed between the rods 20.
