Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make pipe connecting work efficient through the decrease of labor required for pipe connecting work and improvement of workability while suppressing generation of buckling deformation at a fragile part of a piping system caused by pushing-in external force acting due to an earthquake, uneven settlement, or the like, and restrain a housing from becoming large-sized in the direction of a pipe axis, particularly in the case of performing pipe connecting work in the sealed housing.
SOLUTION: A joint ring 3 is exteriorly fitted across the peripheries of two pipe parts 1A, 2A opposed to each other in the direction of a pipe axis P, and sealant 6 sealing in the state of allowing relative spaced movement of both pipe parts 1A, 2A caused by external force is interposed between the inner peripheral surface of the colllar 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the resplective pipe parts 1A, 2A. The inner diameter of one pipe part 2A is formed into an inner diameter allowing the entering movement of the other pipe part 1A.
