Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic element capable of forming a light-fastness dye image in a system using a diffusion transfer type color photosensitive material by incorporating at least a specified compound into a binder.
SOLUTION: At least one compound of formula is incorporated into at least a binder on a substrate. In the formula, an N-containing cyclic structure shows a group of atoms capable of forming a not less than 3-membered nitrogen- containing non-aromatic ring, X is H, alkoxy, aryloxy, an oxy radical, hydroxyl or a group forming imino or hydroxyimino by hydrolysis and Y is a group capable of forming a covalent bond by chemical reaction with a reactive group contained in the binder. A color image having superior light fastness while maintaining high color density (Dmax) is obtained.
