Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts fitting structure for engaging a clip with a boss by the stronger engaging force.
SOLUTION: A boss 11 projected from a fitting parts 12 is provided with plural vertical ribs 13 projected in the radial direction from a core and extended in the longitudinal direction of the boss 11 in the circumferential direction of the boss. The clip 21 is formed with a receiver hole 24 for insertion of the boss 11, and the inner periphery of the receiver hole 24 is formed with plural spiral ribs 28 extended along the circumferential direction and having ridges spirally projected, with a view along the axial direction, to gradually come close to the center of the receiver hole 24. When the boss 11 is inserted into the receiver hole 24 and the clip 21 is relatively turned to the boss 11, the spiral ribs 28 are engaged with the vertical ribs 13 for engagement. After previously assembling the clip 21 in the boss 11, the clip 21 is inserted into the fitting hole formed in a material to be fitted, and the fitting part 12 is thereby fixed to the material to be fitted.
