Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make installation of a cable easier by arranging a slot for receiving an expanded end of a cable, and holding a lower end of a lever in the slot by an elastic force after the cable is inserted into the slot. CONSTITUTION: A brake lever 21 is connected to a pliable cable 33 which can go on and come back in a coil spring 30 used as a guide pipe, and furthermore is connected to an action resource such as a foot pedal, etc. A slot 25 for inserting the top part of the cable 33 and a circular shoulder 29 for engaged with a coil spring 30 are arranged in the lower end of the lever 21. A top expanded end 34 of the cable 33 moves along an oblique plane 27 inside the slot 25 of the lever 21 after it passes through the coil spring 30, and is fixed by the reaction with upper part of the slot 25.
