Abstract:
To provide a filler for papermaking, reusable for internal filling of paper by using a burned ash as a raw material, and treating the burned ash by a comparatively simple process because the reduction of an industrial waste is strongly sought from a view point of environmental protection, and especially the treatment of the burned ash becomes a problem; to provide a method for producing the filler; and to provide the paper containing the filler for the papermaking.
The filler for the papermaking exhibiting excellent wire abrasion resistance can be obtained by heat-treating the raw material at a temperature of 700-800°C, and regulating the pH by using sulfuric acid and/or aluminum sulfate.
