To provide a packing for a drain pipe fitting capable of enhancing the execution of works owing to a small resistance at the time of insertion while a good sealing performance of ring-shaped tabs is secured.
A pillow part 7 having a large thickness is provided on the inside surface of the root part of the packing 1, and a horizontal branch pipe connected is supported from below by the pillow part 7, and thereby the horizontal branch pipe is held in a position concentrical to the ring-shaped tabs 4-6. Accordingly the tabs 4-6 are put in pressure contact with the horizontal branch pipe uniformly at all times, which allows the tabs 4-6 to have a large inside diameter without degrading the sealing performance, and thereby the pipe inserting resistance can be lessened.
