Title:
OVERCURRENT PROTECTION CIRCUIT AND OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3251803
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of a circuit by preventing the repetition of turning on/off of switches on a power supply under an overcurrent state.
CONSTITUTION: This is an overcurrent protection circuit which can interrupt an output current by turning off switches 23 and 25 provided in a power supply when an overcurrent state occurs in operation power to be supplied to a load connected to a power supply equipment 10. This equipment comprises overcurrent detection means 22, 28 and 29 which detect an overcurrent state and generate overcurrent detection signals, holding circuits 32 and 33 which receive these detection signals, output off-command signals and retain this output state until an off-release command is given and forced interrupting means 34 which forcibly maintain off-state for the switches 23 and 25 during the time when the off-signal is being output.
