Abstract:
To arrange the height from the upper surface of a damper supporting member to a gear part of an oil damper as low as possible when the oil damper is mounted on the damper supporting member such as a chassis, etc.
The oil damper 1 is furnished with a housing 2, a brake part incorporated in the housing 2, and the gear part 3 to which the braking force is imparted by the brake part. The housing 2 is provided with a mounting part 4 to the damper supporting member 202 and a basinal swelling part 4A swelling downward against this mounting part 2. The brake part is incorporated in the basinal swelling part 4A, and the gear part 3 is arranged fronting onto an opening part of the upper surface of the housing.
