Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve lighting performance in cathode tubes at a low temperature time.
CONSTITUTION: A high frequency electric current is impressed upon cathode tubes 1 having electrodes 8 on both ends of linear glass seal tubes from an inverter, so that light can be emitted. Electrically conductive wires 7 are arranged continuously in the lengthwise direction so as to be brought into contact with the outer surfaces of the glass seal tubes as well as to be insulated from the both electrodes 8.
