Abstract:
To provide a motor unit that can increase the radial position accuracy of a coupling member with respect to a motor body.SOLUTION: The motor unit include: a motor body 20 having a rotor that rotates about a central axis J and a stator located radially outside the rotor; a motor housing 30 that stores the motor body; a bearing 29B having an outer ring 81 and an inner race 82, and supporting the rotor in a rotatable manner; and a holding member 90 fixed to the motor housing on one side in the axial direction of the motor housing, and holding the outer ring. The outer ring is provided with a first insertion region 81A, a fixed region 81F, and a second insertion region 81B aligned in this order toward the one side in the axial direction. The outer ring is inserted into a first holding hole 31 provided in the motor housing in the first insertion region, is fixed to the holding member in the fixed region, and protrudes to the one side in the axial direction with respect to the holding member in the second insertion region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
