Abstract:
To obtain a mooring device attaining the double purpose of having a base iolation effect and improved habitability.
A mooring device 18, installed on a floating body 14, which is floating on a liquid stored in a recessed structure 12, formed on the ground. The system is composed of a fixation member 24, designed to touch the internal wall of the structure 12 and fix the floating body 14 to the internal wall of the structure 12 at times other than earthquake time, and canceling members 26 and 28, which will cancel the contact of the fixation member 24 with the internal wall of the structure 12 at the time of earthquake.
