Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding component for breaking separation type connection rod achieving both of strength of a rod part and machinability of a large end part and a small end part, the connection rod using the molding component for breaking separation type connection rod and a manufacturing method of the connection rod.SOLUTION: The molding component for connection rod contains a predetermined chemical component and the balance iron with inevitable impurities and satisfies following formulae (1) to (3). C=[C]+0.28[Mn]-1.03[S]+0.323[Cr]+1.69[V]≥1.10% (1) Ferrite fraction (%)≥((0.80-[C])/0.80)×0.80×100% (2) HV-254C≤25 (3) HV is Vickers hardness, Cis a value calculated by the formula (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
