Abstract:

To realize a moisture generating reaction furnace which efficiently induces moisture generating reaction by forcibly making gaseous raw material turbulent.

This moisture generating reaction furnace 2 comprises an inlet side furnace body member 4 which supplies gaseous raw material, an outlet side furnace body member 20 which supplies moisture gas from a moisture gas supplying path 28, a reactor 12 which is clamped between both furnace body members 4 and 20 in an airtight state and is formed with a plurality of blow holes 16 in their required points so as to be communicated with an inlet side space section 8, a reaction chamber 18 which is formed to have s slight spacing d between the reactor 12 and the outlet side furnace body member 20, a nozzle hole 24 which is formed in the outlet side furnace body member so as to allow the reaction chamber 18 to communicate with the moisture gas supplying path 28 and a coating catalyst layer 21 which is formed in a reaction chamber wall surface 20a facing the reflector 12. Hydrogen and oxygen turbulently flow into the reaction chamber 18 from the blow holes 16 of the reactor 12 and the hydrogen and the oxygen are reacted in a non-combustion state by the activation effect of the coating catalyst layer 21, by which the moisture gas is generated.
