Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed hot water branch mechanism incorporating a thermo-cartridge having a simple structure.
SOLUTION: A thermo-cartridge 15 is composed of a cylindrical mixing valve element 16 constituting a cold water valve (a) and a hot water valve (b), a small diameter attaching part 21 fitted thereon with the mixing valve element 16, a piston 17 adapted to be moved in the axial direction (direction A) of a cylindrical casing 20 and receiving rotating manipulation of a temperature adjusting handle through a faucet rod 22, a spring member 18, and a sleeve 19 accommodating the piston 17 and the spring member 18. The cylindrical casing 21 is located in a hot water mixing faucet body 1, and further, a cold water introducing hole 24 and a hot water introducing hole 25 are formed in the barrel wall 21a of the cylindrical casing 21. Moreover, a mixed hot water extraction hole 26 is formed in the barrel wall 21a of the casing 21, and a mixed hot water hole 27 is formed on the other end side of the cylindrical casing 21.
