Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating garbage which contributes to cost reduction and environmental protection by recycling waste as resources and a useful product by the method.
SOLUTION: Garbage crushed and kneaded into paste, after being mixed with edible fiber powder, is dewatered and dried. The garbage, after being refrigerated temporarily, is thawed by heating and crushed. Wood powder and grain-shell powder, and especially powder obtained from coconut palm trunks are used preferably as the edible fiber powder. By drying the garbage mixed with the powder by heating or airing to its water content of 5-18% or below, a recyclable treated product can be obtained easily.
