PURPOSE: To recover bulky materials without impeding continuous suction and discharge of sludge by providing a hollow tank in the course of a sucking passage, falling bulky materials in sludge to the tank bottom part, and releasing them from a hatch of the tank bottom part.
CONSTITUTION: In the course of a suction passage of a dredging device for sucking sludge by a suction hose 3, entering it into a suction and discharge tank 4, and then force-feeding it in a discharge pipe 5, a hollow tank 11 having a hatch 16 on the bottom part is provided. Bulky materials sucked together with sludge is collided onto a baffle plate member 19 protruded on the inner surface of the hollow tank 11 and fallen onto the bottom part of the hollow tank 11. The bulky materials not fallen by the baffle plate member 19 are collided onto a screen 21 provided on the upper part of the hollow tank 11 and fallen onto the bottom part of the hollow tank 11. The bulky materials collected in the bottom part of the hollow tank 11 is released out of the device by releasing the hatch 16.
