Abstract:

To provide a production method by which a metal-ceramics composite material with a hollow structure can be produced without burring the hollow part by an oozed aluminum alloy even in a pressureless infiltration method.

A preform with a hollow structure in a wall part or a top plate part provided with a hole leading to the outside is formed of ceramics powder or ceramics fiber, and molten aluminum or an aluminum alloy is infiltrated into the preform by a pressureless infiltration method, so that the metal-ceramics composite material is produced.
