To provide a method for producing a lysophospholipid with diminished allergens such as proteins or peptides in phospholipid-containing raw materials or enzymes used in lysophospholipid production, thus having high safety, in view of the fact that phospholipids are naturally derived surfactants having been used as emulsifiers for cosmetics, and lysophospholipids functionally better than the phospholipids as a result of improving the hydrophilicity of the phospholipids by enzymolysis of one of two acyl groups in the structure thereof have generally been used in the fields of foods and cosmetics.
This method for producing the lysophospholipid with diminished allergens comprises the steps of treating a phospholipid-containing raw material with a phospholipase followed by a protease, and then removing the proteins, peptides and/or enzymes in the raw material.
