Abstract:

To provide a method for processing silver halide photographic sensitive material prevented from occurrence of a fur, while saving water, and that of silver sludge in a rinsing bath and that of blue dye stains on a processed film.

The silver halide photographic sensitive material provided on a support with at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is developed and fixing and, rinsed or subjected to stabilization treatment, by using an automatic developing machine comprising a developing bath, a fixing bath, a rinsing bath and/or a stabilizing bath and containing hydrogen peroxide or at least one kind of sterilizing agent in the rinsing bath or the stabilizing bath, and water is fed into the rinsing bath at each time of processing 2-6 sheets of the silver halide photographic material of a large size (610×508 mm) or an area of 0.6 m2-1.8 m2.
