METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000305224
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material capable of rapid processing and low in tendency to cause fog and capable of drying the material to an optimal state and good in the dimensional stability of the finished material.

This photosensitive material is processed by using an automatic developing machine and a developing solution substantially not containing hydroquinone but as a developing agent a compound represented by the formula and in the drying process of the developing machine wherein the surface of the photosensitive material is brought into contact with heated drying members. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 is respectively optionally substituted alkyl or amino or alkoxy or alkylthio group, and they may combine with each other to form a ring; (k) is 0 or 1, and when it is 1, X is a -CO- or -CSgroup and each of M1 and M2 is an H or alkali metal atom.
