Abstract:
To reduce the energy to be used for briquetting when grinding-wheel swarf is briquetted and reused and also to simplify allied equipment, etc.
The grinding-wheel swarf generated in grinding is dried by air drying to make grinding fluid content to ≤20%. Shot dregs resultant from shot blasting and gear cutting chips generated at gear cutting and having ≤6% oil content are added to the grinding-wheel swarf and also the blending ratio among them is regulated so that (grinding-wheel swarf):(shot dregs):(gear cutting chips)=2:1:7 is satisfied. After mixing and agitation, pressing pressure is applied to the resultant mixture to carry out briquetting.
