Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for removing heavy metals which possess excellent efficiencies in removing the heavy metals without requiring cleaning, or the like, of the electrode plates of an electrolyzer.
The method for removing the heavy metals from an organism includes a dissolution process of dissolving the heavy metals by suspending the organism in an acid solution containing both or one of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, a cleaning process of adding water to a solid content separated from the acid solution and agitating them, and an electrolysis process of removing the heavy metals by electrolyzing an aqueous solution containing the heavy metals obtained through the dissolution process and the cleaning process.
