Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a reinforced hose having superior reinforcement properties at a low cost by a method wherein an external surface of an unvulcanized rubber-made inner tube extruded by an extrusion process is coated with a resin net by a net making method, thereon an unvulcanized rubber-made outer tube is extruded, and the inner and outer tubes are vulcanized to be formed into one piece.

CONSTITUTION: In the production of a reinforced hose, firstly, a piping material in an extrusion barrel 10 is extruded out of a ring-form gap formed by means of a center die 2 and an inner tube die 3 by rotating an extrusion screw 12 of an inner tube extruder 1, thereby formed into an inner tube 8. Next, a die part in a resin net extruder 7 is relatively rotated around the inner tube extruder 1, and a melt resin is extruded into a net yarn form, thereby formed into a resin net 76 covering the external surface of the inner tube 8. Succeedingly, at almost the same time, an outer tube material in an outer tube extruder 6 is extruded out of a material outlet port 45 to the external surface of the inner tube 8, thereby formed into an outer tube 9. After that, the inner and outer tubes 8, 9 are integrally vulcanized by a vulcanizing process. In this manner, a reinforced hose is completed.
