Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING FINE FLOW AMOUNT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3020123
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and surely control a fine flow amount of fluid by reciprocating a valve element, suited for use of metering and mixing fluid, to a closed position of interrupting the fluid and to an opened position of circulating the fluid through only a notch.
CONSTITUTION: This flow control valve 1 has a valve element 14 moved along a valve seat 13 to open/close a flow path, and this valve element 14 is moved in almost a perpendicular direction by a valve element open/close driving mechanism 42 to open/close the flow path. The valve element 14 is formed into a truncated pyramid shape from Teflon or the like to provided a notch 14a in a lower edge of the valve element for improving accuracy of controlling a fine flow amount. The valve element open/close driving mechanism 42 has three valve element driving cylinders 74 to 76 having large, intermediate and small strokes. By driving the small stroke valve driving cylinder 76 reciprocated based on a pulse control signal, the valve element 14 is reciprocated between a closed position of interrupting fluid and an opened position of circulating the fluid through only the notch 14a, to control a fine flow amount.
