Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a seat life and to facilitate an opening/closing action by preventing a deviational abrasion caused by a rotational action of the ball of a ball valve.
SOLUTION: At the stage that a seat 40 for sealing an opening/closing ball 20 of a ball valve is supported and bonded to a seat slide guide 50 and is operated by a normal rotation or a reverse rotation of the opening/closing ball 20 at the time of releasing/closing, the seat 40 is displaced to a position where it is not subjected to interference from a rotation track range of an outer surface of the opening/closing ball 20 along with the seat slide guide 50, and the seat 40 is brought into close contact with the outer surface of the opening/ closing ball 20 at an open or close position of the opening/closing ball 20.
