To provide a method of quickly, easily and inexpensively assembling a servo valve in safety at a hydraulically-centered position.
This method of assembling the servo valve at a position hydraulically centered with respect to an output shaft, an input shaft and a valve housing, is composed of following processes, that is, a process for forming a preliminary assembling unit of the output shaft and the input shaft, a process for fastening the valve housing at a position permitting its rotation but fixing it in the axial direction, a process for inserting the preliminary assembling unit into the valve housing in a state of being positioned movably in the axial direction but not rotatable, while permitting mutual rotation of the valve housing and the output shaft, a process for applying liquid pressure to the preliminarily-assembled servo valve, a process for centering the servo valve by rotating the valve housing, and a process for pressing the preliminary assembling unit into the valve housing, and pressing the output shaft and the valve housing to each other in an area where they are overlapped.
