Abstract:
To provide a method of assembling an outer ring separation type angular ball bearing in which a surface of a ball constituting an inner-ring assembly is restrained from being damaged when an outer ring is attached to an outer periphery of the inner-ring assembly.SOLUTION: When an outer ring 1 is attached to an outer periphery of an inner-ring assembly A', the attachment is performed in a state where a retainer 4 is supported by a tool 20 so that a lower surface of an outer-ring counter side annular portion 12 is held at a position higher than a lower surface of an inner ring 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
