In the rod 24 producing apparatus comprising a mixing and/or separating apparatus 12 for the filter material 51, and the rod forming apparatus 15, 15', 15'', 17, 18 installed on the downstream of the mixing and/or separating apparatus 12 wherein the entrance area of the rod forming apparatus narrows to the transporting direction 50, at least one conveyer 15, 15', 15'' which is mobile to the transporting direction 50, is installed on the entrance area.
