Abstract:
To provide methane fermentation method which, when methane fermentation is not successful, allows for recovery by a simple method.SOLUTION: The methane fermentation method is provided in which methanogen included in biomass feedstock is cultivated in a fermentation tank, thereby generating methane gas, and the methane fermentation method comprises: a step of measuring the methane concentration in a fermentation tank; a step (S41) of measuring the ammonia concentration and organic acid concentration in the fermentation tank when the methane concentration in the fermentation tank is less than 50%; and a step (S44) of adjusting the dilution rate of the fermentation liquid in the fermentation tank according to the measurement results of the ammonia concentration and the organic acid concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
